When I was a kid mobile for me was like million dollar gadget. I always wondered that how I can have one of them. I used to dream about mobiles. In our campus when my uncle bought his first mobile-Simple mobile I rushed to his home to get a glimpse of the mobile. It was a simple mobile. The next thing I did was to pursue my father for a mobile to our home. Fortunately my father agreed. And hence enters our first Simple mobile. That day was dream come true for me. I was so fascinated about the simple mobile that whenever I heard its monotonic ringtone, it was a tune played from heaven. I used to spend 2-3 hours for that simple mobile. It had become my friend. But….
I am a human. Greediness is in my blood. Life is always simple at the beginning but we are more interested in complexity. Now I was getting fed up with our simple mobile. I started to dream about Smart mobile now. I watch them on TV. I wish again, I could have one. And again one of my uncle bought the smart mobile. I rushed to his home and next step was to pursue my father for Smart mobile. My luck was tough for me. My father said me to concentrate on my studies. I diverted myself from mobiles and switched over to studies. Sometimes we have to choose the other alternates in which we are less interested. Life is always in U shape. One part is with your direction and the next part is against your wish. But deep in my heart I see n dream only mobiles-smart mobiles. And one morning the sun was with me. I saw a smart mobile in my study table. But In my home I was the youngest. My brother’s luck was stronger than me. Sometimes I ponder on that fact. My brother never dreams about the smart mobile. But the reality was that the smart mobile was with him. And then when I put my hand in my pocket I found my old simple mobile with me. Simple things will always with us in our life race.
Now I don’t dream about the smart mobiles. Because it was with me but still I can’t touch it. I used to see it but can’t own it. Life is also like me and my mobiles. In human life there is always rapacity of something better than the things we possess.
No doubt we have to think about advancements but Simplicity is the best policy. Now I have a smart mobile but in some corner I always feel for my simple mobile. Because simplicity derives innocence from you. And we are true when we are innocent.
